CONFIRMATION CALLS

as a courtesy, we try to call and confirm your appointments a business day prior to your appointment. however, if we are unable to call or reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals and/or missed appointments.

TRADITIONAL SAUNA

you may enjoy our traditional sauna; please let us know 45 minutes in advance if you wish to use the sauna. complimentary with any 60 minute facial or massage.

CANCELLATIONS

due to the personalized nature of our services, we begin preparing for your appointment well in advance of your arrival. should you need to cancel, 24 hours advance notice is required for appointment cancellations. appointments cancelled in less than the required time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

in the event that you miss three consecutive appointments without contacting the front desk, you will be unable to schedule future appointments. however, you may be considered as a walk-in or we will be happy to add you to our cancellation list.

CELL PHONE POLICY

we understand the desire to keep in touch. however, in consideration of all of our guests as well as our service providers, we strongly request that all cell phones be switched to vibrate or silent. we also request that cell phone conversations during your appointment time may be limited to those of an urgent or emergency nature.
 

CHILDREN

due to the presence of extreme of extreme heat, chemical products and professional equipment, as well as those here to relax, we do not feel our salon or spa is a safe place for unsupervised children.

EXPECTANT MOTHERS

please note that any heat treatments and some spa facilities may not be suitable. we highly recommend that you consult with your doctor prior to your spa visit.
 

SPA ATTIRE

robes, towels and slippers are provided for your use during your spa visit. we recommend wearing something comfortable to leave in. valuable items should be left at home, as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings.

SCHEDULING and LATE ARRIVALS

we understand that your free time is precious therefore we recommend you reserve your appointment times in advance. weekends and holidays tend to book up quickly; to avoid disappointment we suggest that you schedule these appointments 2-3 weeks in advance. however, don't hesitate to call for last minute appointments, as we will do our best to accommodate you!service times may be shortened to accommodate late arrivals; however, in some cases it may be necessary to reschedule services.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS

please inform us of any medical conditions or special needs prior to your service. if you are pregnant or have high blood pressure, avoid any heat treatments. skin care procedures and waxing services have specific contraindications related to pregnancy and prescription drugs.

GRATUITIES


gratuities are not included with any of our prices or gift cards. all gratuities are at the guest's discretion.

RETURNS

gift cards and/or gift certificate sales are final. however, you may return any product if it is unsatisfactory to you.

GIFT CARDS AND/OR CERTIFICATES

make an impression with your loved ones or someone special. gift cards are available at the front desk or by phone. the retreat is not responsible for lost or misplaced cards and/or certificates.
